Pro-Ject Amp Box S3 Integrated Amplifer

The Amp Box S3 is an efficient, yet capable, compact power amplifier with true stereo hi-fi credibility. Thanks to its clever internal design it delivers a warm, inviting musical performance with the sonic characteristics of a tube amplifier. 

The Amp Box S3 boasts a new PCB concept and sophisticated topology in order to achieve less distortion and a better signal to noise ratio. This audio-focused internal design is also highly efficient, with very little wasted energy. It also brings you a rich and musical sound with a touch of analogue warmth, inspired by the sonic traits of more costly valve amplifiers. By squeezing this clever technology into a deceptively small footprint, the amplifier is suited to a variety of applications.

Ideally suited to room sizes up-to 15m2, depending on the matched speakers, the Amp Box S3 can be useful for nearfield hi-fi systems, powering in-wall or in-ceiling speakers, or for enhancing the performance of existing hi-fi and home cinema systems. With one stereo RCA input, a jack output, and trigger connections, it’s also possible to stack multiple amplifiers for bi- or tri-amplified systems. 

Sitting on four rubberised feet and contained within a sturdy metal casework that boasts a clean, minimalist elegance for when it’s on show, the Amp Box S3 is designed to protect itself from electronic interference and vibration. The result is a purer musical signal that is true to the original recording, all presented in a spacious and comfortable sound stage.
