The Story

Engineered for large spaces, the Solstice 8 combines great performance and a wide soundstage, faithfully reproducing the full emotional impact of recordings with naturalness and precision.

This 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker benefits from the key innovations developed for SOLSTICE, such as the new ‘barrel-type’ horn tweeter, optimisations to the midrange and woofer drivers, and the innovative base design, which combines several functions.

The Solstice 8 stands out for its ability to combine breadth and subtlety. Its two woofers, with their sleek design, give it a remarkable foundation capable of reproducing both the scale of a large orchestra and the energy and liveliness of contemporary music.
Within a wide and precise soundstage, the mid-to-high range naturally reveals both the harmonic richness of the instruments and the subtle nuances of the vocal range.

Thanks to its high dynamic range and dual terminals compatible with bi-wiring or bi-amping, the Solstice 8 is ideally suited to a system in a room of 15 to 50 m², whether for Hi-Fi use or as part of a home cinema setup.

ADVANCED ACOUSTIC TECHNOLOGIES

The new TZ2540MG horn tweeter represents a significant part of the acoustic innovations developed for SOLSTICE. It is based on a combination of two new acoustic architectures developed specifically for the range:

a new phase plug that optimises the dispersion of high frequencies
a horn with an improved profile and a barrel-shaped mouth.

NEW DRIVER ARCHITECTURE

New Basket Developed specifically for SOLSTICE, the new 16cm die-cast aluminium salad bowl features an arch-shaped structure that is highly acoustically neutral.
Enlarged midrange The membrane benefits from a new rear-glueing system that increases the radiating surface area and improves the linearity of the sound reproduction.
Deep bass Low frequencies are handled by new 16 cm drivers with concave cones and no dust cap, whose design combines visual elegance with acoustic performance.

DESIGNED TO THE SMALLEST DETAIL

AN OPTIMISED BASE

	Hidden air flow It conceals a laminar bass-reflex port specific to the range. This design, a first for TRIANGLE, reduces flow noise whilst ensuring dynamic and perfectly controlled low frequencies.
	A dual-material structure The base consists of a cast iron honeycomb structure covered with a thick layer of silicone. The combination of these two materials effectively absorbs vibrations from the speaker and helps to mechanically decouple it.
	2° Inclination Its 2-degree tilt optimises the speaker’s directionality by widening the listening field, whilst making the speaker appear sleeker and enhancing its sense of stability.
	Adjustable spikes The Solstice 8 comes with adjustable metal spikes and counter-spikes to ensure excellent stability, whatever the floor surface.
